Fans
of motocross all celebrate the CRA motocross (Competition Riders
of America). This association allows members to compete in top
races, spanning three divisions. Whether you are just beginning
your racing passion or are seeking the opportunity to display
it for more venues, the CRA will offer you every chance you need.
The
CRA motocross is divided into three divisions: Youth, Adult and
Quad. Each has many subcategories within it, which will be outlined
here:
CRA
Motocross Youth:
- Beginner
Pee Wee MX: Four to Six year olds may compete with up to a 50cc
bike.
- Jr.
Pee Wee MX: More experienced are required, with having been
part of, at least, ten races.
- Sr.
Pee Wee: Seven to Eight year olds compete.
- 60cc
Bike MX: Riders from Seven to Eleven, and who are more advanced
may compete.
- Jr.
Mini Bike MX: Highly advanced riders under Twelve may enter
this division.
- Sr.
Mini Bike MX: Thirteen to Fifteen year old ride here.
- Super
Mini Bike MX: Riders under Fifteen with a 65 to 105cc can compete.
- Schoolboy
Bike MX: Twelve to Fifteen year olds riding 85 to 125cc can
compete.
- Jr.
Trail Bike MX: Racers under Twelve with machines not typical
to the sport can ride.
- Sr.
Trail Bike MX: Thirteen to Fifteen year olds can can compete
with equipment under 125cc
