Carl
Schmidt and Steven McFadden are young but experienced bikers that
have engineering backgrounds. They noticed that dirt bikes were
becoming very popular in the U.S. for both sporting and racing
purposes. Schmidt and McFadden decided to take advantage of the
new dirt bike popularity. They began developing their own models,
and used motorcycle engines that were manufactured by other companies
including Rotax Motors of Austria and Honda to create their Dirt
Bike USA line.
After
discovering that their first model proved to be very successful,
the two young entrepreneurs decided to manufacture a large number
of their dirt bikes and sell them. Over the past decade, Dirt
Bikes USA has managed to enhance and broaden its product line
to include special dirt bike models that are optimized for off-road
recreational use and for racing.
Many
of the Dirt Bikes USA models have won races and are recognized
for their quality and speed.
