Suzuki RMZ 450

Not a great deal has changed on the 2009 Suzuki RMZ 450 from last year. It was a good bike in 08 and is still good for 09.

The motor is very 'linear'. Power is always there when the throttle is turned thanks to the fuel injection.

Some said it doesn't rev as high as other 450's (namely Kawasaki).

As there were some crankcase issues in 08, so the Suzuki RMZ 450 cases have been redesigned for the new dirtbike.

Testers find it handles good with good traction on the front end in turns. Comments were made about the suspension being a set-up for faster or heavier guys as some found it a little stiff for their liking.

I'm sure Chad Reed wont have any problems with the suspension for AMA supercross.

The Suzuki RMZ 450 gets new coloured radiator shrouds. Black and yellow that flows into the black and blue seat cover.

The RMZ is equal heaviest with the KX450F, but feels nimble in the air.

Power is strong but it's delivery is friendly so it wont tire you out too much.

The new Suzuki RMZ 450 has minimal changes but coming from the bike it was in 08... minimal is all it needed.
